Twitter is Roasting Apple for Trying to Coin the Term “Slofies”

On Tuesday, Apple announced the launch of its biggest products for the year in Apple Park’s Steve Job. Among the products and services revealed were the three versions of the iPhone 11: the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

All three versions have very big triple-lens cameras that are one of the most visible and important new feature in them. These ultra wide range cameras have prominent impressive features. The front cameras have the ability to take slow-motion pictures.

Apple tried to coin the term ‘slofies’ to appeal to the internet cultured teens of today but Twitter is just not having it. Their attempt at making this word trendy had exactly the opposite reaction to what they wanted to achieve.

While the term is getting plenty of usage and popularity, we are not sure if this is the kind of popularity Apple was aiming for. Here are some of the best Twitter burns:

Starting at $699, the iPhone 11 will be available on September 20. Apple also revealed a new iPad model and new Apple Watches apart from trying to increase the English vocabulary.
